Precise headlight image
VisiCon offers you the semi or fully automatic adjustment of main and fog lights in the highest precision. With the camera-based recording of the headlight and the analysis by VisiCon’s own software, the results are exact and reproducible – this applies to all types of headlights from halogen to laser. In combination with the VisiCon centralizer, the adjustment is made in alignment with the vehicle symmetry axis – the basic requirement for precise headlight adjustment.

Due to its´ modular design, it is possible to adapt our system to any customer requirement – whether it concerns the size of the light collecting box, the type of positioning system (gantry vs. ground traversing system) or the semi or fully automatic adjustment of the headlights. Gantry
Both gantry and ground traversing systems are used for the correct positioning of the light collecting box in front of the headlight. Gantry systems offer minimum maintenance requirements while at the same time the highest precision and reproducibility. Ground traversing systems can be an excellent solution in limited space settings.

Centralizer
A reproducible and defined alignment of the vehicle along the line of symmetry is essential for the adjustment of headlights. The vehicle is centered pneumatically with roller rails that are applied to the inner side of the tire. Plastic rollers prevent damage to tires and rims. Our centralizers are available in different sizes, can be installed in a pit or with a platform and are equipped with additional drive-in aids on request.

Light Collecting Box
The Light Collecting Box is used for adjusting and, if necessary, analyzing the headlight. The light image of the headlight is projected through a Fresnel lens onto a diffusing disc and recorded from there with a digital camera specifically developed by VisiCon.

Adjustment tools
The VisiCon powertools are durable, robust tools that have been specifically developed for precise headlight adjustment (height and side). The adjustable torque as well as the low backlash enable shortest possible adjustment times with high accuracy. The adjustment can be done manually, semi or fully automatically.

Software and PLC
The software is the heart of the headlight adjustment. It analyses the headlight image transmitted by the light collecting box. The corresponding processes and target values can be defined as well as the algorithms that are used for adjustment depending on the type of headlamp (halogen, xenon, LED, laser). Different displays can be provided for the user in parallel on one or more monitors (e. g. directly on the measurement PC or on monitors on traversing columns). The connection to the superordinate hall network can be easily realized by means of various interfaces. If required, our systems can be controlled via a central PLC, alternatively, operation is also possible using only a measuring PC.

Master gauge
The alignment of the light collecting box is carried out by means of a torsion-resistant master gauge. Two setup lasers are mounted on this gauge. If required, additional setup components for DAS test stands or wheel alignment stands can be attached.
